A full-time postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Alison Preston at the Center for Learning and Memory at the University of Texas at Austin (http://clm.utexas.edu/preston). The lab uses cutting-edge brain imaging and computational modeling techniques to understand how memory is implemented in the human brain. The successful applicant will work on projects related to the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying episodic memory and reasoning and will have the opportunity to contribute to a new line of research examining how these mechanisms develop in childhood and adolescence.
We are seeking motivated individuals with (1) a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology or a related field, (2) previous experience with fMRI research, (3) strong programming and quantitative skills, and (4) a promising publication record. To apply, please send a CV, a statement of research interests, and contact information for three references to firstname.lastname@example.org. Review of applications will begin on July 15th and continue until the position is filled.
