Cassandra Jacobs is a freshly-minted PhD from Cognitive Psychology program at the University of Illinois, where she worked with Gary Dell, Duane Watson, and Margaret Fleck. She is currently a visiting postdoctoral scholar at UC Davis working with Fernanda Ferreira. Her research looks at how experience with language in the short and long term support fluent language comprehension and production, and is informed by theories of learning and memory and natural language processing.
