Almas Talib is a final-year undergraduate Experimental Psychology student at the University of Bristol (England). She also sits on the committee of the University’s student union network for Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) Students. As a panelist of a recent ‘Why is my curriculum white’ event she raised the question of why her course does not yet reflect the racial diversity that characterizes contemporary research in psychological science (both in terms of people and topics).
