<title>Seeking mentors for NSF-supported research project (CSUF Psychology Pathways)</title>

<p>Psychology Pathways, a 5-year research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF),<br />is seeking STEM professionals with Psychology backgrounds to serve as volunteer mentors.<br />Mentors will be asked to video-record a “virtual mentor”
    (conversational virtual agent) to share<br />stories about their career path with psychology students at California State University, Fullerton<br />(CSUF) and beyond, as part of a STEM outreach intervention/study.</p>
<h2><strong>Involvement</strong></h2>
<p>1. Video-recording interviews

2. Interacting directly with students (optional)
Video-recording interviews for your own virtual mentor on a self-serve web platform.

Mentors can also make themselves available for one-on-one consultations or workshops/events

<description><![CDATA[<p>NIH is indefinitely extending the period of delayed enforcement for registration and results reporting, originally announced in NOT-OD-18-212 for basic experimental studies involving humans (BESH) responsive to designated BESH notices of funding opportunities (NOFOs), including those with application due dates on or after September 25, 2025. <description><![CDATA[<h2 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Research Invitation -&nbsp;How Psychologists Perceive Other Scholars</strong></h2><p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: 16px;">Deadline - July 15, 2025</span></strong></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><strong>Are you a psychology professor or postdoctoral researcher working at a university? If yes, we are interested in your opinions!&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Shoko Watanabe, a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Birmingham in England, together with Carissa Sharp (Associate Professor of Psychology of Religion) and Jon Catling (Professor of Psychology), are requesting assistance in a large-scale project by participating in a 15-minute online survey looking at how academics perceive research and scholars from other disciplines.<br /><br />Participants must meet the following eligibility criteria:<br />1.<span style="white-space:pre;">	</span>Over 18 years old.<br />2.<span style="white-space:pre;">	</span>Fluent in English (note: you do not need to be a native English speaker).<br />3.<span style="white-space:pre;">	</span>Have a doctoral degree in psychology (e.g., PhD).<br />4.<span style="white-space:pre;">	</span>Conduct psychological research and/or teach psychology at a university.<br />5.<span style="white-space:pre;">	</span>Have a valid institutional email address (e.g., ending in “.edu”, “ac.uk”, etc.)<br /><br />If you meet the above-listed&nbsp; qualifications and are interested in helping, please click on the link below. The first part of the study consists of quick verification questions; upon confirming your eligibility.
