David Kellen is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Syracuse University. In 2011, he earned a PhD in Psychology from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. He is the author of over 40 papers and book chapters. In 2012 he received the R. Duncan Luce Outstanding Paper Award, and in 2018 the William K. Estes Early Career Award, both attributed by the Society for Mathematical Psychology. His work focuses on the development and testing of measurement models in recognition memory, decision making, and reasoning. He is also interested in the philosophy of psychology and the interplay between data, measurement, and theory.
