Susanne Quadflieg is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol (England). She received her Diploma in psychology from the University of Jena (Germany) in 2006 and a PhD from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) in 2010. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium) before joining New York University Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) as an Assistant Professor in psychology from 2011 to 2014. As a social neuroscientist, she studies aspects of person perception, person construal, and person understanding, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in combination with behavioral and self-report measures.
