Helen Fischer

Helen Fischer

Helen Fischer holds a Research Fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG). She is currently a guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin, and completed postdoctoral research at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Sweden. She conducted research in several international projects on the psychology of climate change, and is a member of the Researchers Desk, Stockholm. She received her PhD in cognitive psychology from Heidelberg University, Germany. Her research interests include the psychology of politicized science, such as climate change or COVID-19, and in particular, its relationship with metacognition, science-related misinformation, motivated reasoning, and political polarization.
