A Hybrid Meeting

The 2022 annual meeting will be a hybrid conference, and the experience will be different for in person and remote attendees. If you are able to attend the meeting in person, we encourage you to do so. However, all spoken and poster presenters will have the option to present remotely from anywhere in the world if they are not able to attend the meeting in person in Boston. Please note that all spoken presentations will be given live this year; there will be no prerecorded talks.

Read more about the new 2022 Program.

Onsite Registration Is Now Closed
All attendees must register. Registration includes access to the keynote address and all symposia, talks, poster sessions, and networking events. Registration will be accepted on a rolling basis through the end of the conference; however, attendees are strongly encouraged to register well in advance in order to avoid long registration lines on site and delays in access to the conference website.

Health & Safety
The safety of our members and meeting attendees is our top priority. Health & Safety Requirements apply to all participants who will be on site at our 2022 Annual Meeting, November 17–20, 2022, at the Boston Sheraton Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. In accordance with CDC and local guidelines, COVID-19 vaccinations are recommended of all attendees (unless there is a medical exception), and all attendees are recommended to wear face coverings when indoors at the conference facilities (unless eating or drinking). Learn more here.

Statement on Harassment

The Psychonomic Society is an inclusive and welcoming organization, and our meeting should reflect those values. Conference attendees and visitors should enjoy freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and freedom from harassment and discrimination of all kinds. We encourage members to be mindful of others’ perspectives and to consider how a question, comment, or invitation might be received particularly when there is a power differential between parties. Constructive criticism is an essential part of science. No participant should feel vulnerable to harassment or discrimination, nor should they endure a climate of fear or hostility, at our meetings or in our digital events. Let’s all work together to ensure that our values of inclusion, respect, and professionalism are ones that are enjoyed by all of our members and event participants.

Special Assistance
The Psychonomic Society wishes to ensure that no individual is excluded because of the absence of auxiliary aids or services identified in the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you require special assistance at the meeting, please complete the appropriate section of the online registration form or e-mail meetings@psychonomic.org.

Program and Conference Organization
The Secretary, Reed Hunt, has the responsibility for organizing the program, and the Program Committee reviews all submissions. They do so with the indispensable help of Lou Shomette, Executive Director; Michelle Whitworth, Director of Meetings; Peggy Doherty, Director of Membership & Operations; Natalia Kot, Registration Specialist; Kaitlin Leverenz, Meetings Administrator; Jerrod Liveoak, Senior Manager, Editorial & Content; Peggy Fergus, Education Manager, Jim Cavanaugh, Sr Sales Manager; Phyllis Milz, Finance Manager; Julie Rogers, Editorial Manager; Greg Muenzer, Member Services Specialist, and Timothy Utesch, Graphic Designer.
