Call for Proposals - Lunchtime Workshops
Submissions closed on June 30, 2024.
Lunchtime workshops are sessions intended to convey specific knowledge or skills. These sessions are not appropriate for the presentation of formal research talks. These workshops are more interactive and informal than formal talks, and
they can involve extended discussion as well as hands-on training. Workshops may involve one or several leaders/presenters. A strong workshop proposal will make clear what knowledge, skills, tools, or insights participants might expect
to gain from the session.
Please complete the submission form here to
submit your proposal for a Lunchtime Workshop during the Psychonomic Society's 2024 Annual Meeting. All
proposals must be submitted no later than June 30, 2024. Please follow the guidelines established to ensure consideration of your proposal.
Eligibility & Submission Requirements

The proposal should be brief (approximately one page) and include:

An overview of the workshop;

The target audience;
-
A list of potential speakers; and
-
A brief description of each speaker's talk.

The lead organizer must be a current Fellow of the Society.

Workshops must be held in person, on site at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel.

All speakers must present, in person, on site.

All workshop attendees must participate in person.

All workshop proposals will be reviewed by the Program Committee and notifications will be emailed to lead presenters in July 2024.

Workshops are not meant to feature commercial products or services.

Financial Support/Fees

There are no registration fees for attendees, though you must register for the Annual Meeting.

There is no financial support for speaker travel or housing.

There is no financial support for food and beverage.

A complimentary screen, LCD projector, and microphone will be provided.
This initiative should not be confused with the Leading Edge Workshop program.
