Edward Vul has been an associate professor at the University of California, San Diego Psychology Department since receiving his PhD in Cognitive Science at MIT. His research uses computational models and behavioral experiments to formally characterize how people can exhibit rich, adaptive behavior in the face of incomplete and uncertain information in everyday life.
