2018 Early Career Award Recipient |
Liane Young uses methods from social psychology and neuroscience (i.e., functional neuroimaging and transcranial magnetic stimulation), to investigate moral judgment and social cognition. Recent research in Young’s lab has focused on the psychological and neural basis of distinct moral norms (e.g., harm, purity) and the role of theory of mind across social contexts (e.g., cooperation, competition). Ongoing work examines human virtue and the role of reason in moral judgment and decision-making. |
