Marc Brysbaert is author of over 250 articles and book chapters, of which 25 appeared in Behavior Research Methods. His interests include the use of big data in language research. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology and has been action editor of Cortex, Psychological Research, and the Journal of Cognitive Psychology. He is member of the editorial board of several journals including Journal of Memory and Language, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Cognition, Bilingualism: Language and Cognition, The Mental Lexicon, the Journal of Cognition, Canadian Psychology, and Language, Cognition and Neuroscience. He has been member of the editorial board of Behavior Research Methods since 1997. Marc Brysbaert is also author of five textbooks including Historical and Conceptual Issues in Psychology (Pearson Education; 3rd edition foreseen for 2020), Fundamentals of Cognition (Routledge, together with M. Eysenck, 3rd edition in 2018), and Basic Statistics for Psychologists (Macmillan, 2nd edition in 2019). He is a proponent of open science and properly-powered studies that are replicable.
