Luisa F. Henao is a first-year PhD student in Psychology at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Her work focuses on studying the effects of technology use on memory and metamemory through behavioural tasks. In particular, she is investigating the impact on learning of notifications from other people's mobile phones and also of their presence, in an academic environment. In 2022 she was awarded the second best study presented at the Psicosaba Congress of the Universidad de la Sabana - studies category Neuropsychology and Education and in 2023 she received the prize for the best undergraduate thesis in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia competition version XXXII-2023.
