 Brooke N. Macnamara is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. She received her PhD in Psychology from Princeton University in 2014. Dr. Macnamara investigates predictors of intra- and inter-individual differences in complex performance: skill acquisition, expertise, and achievement. Dr. Macnamara’s research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Army Research Institute. In 2017, she was recognized as a Rising Star by the Association for Psychological Science and became a Psychonomic Society Fellow. In 2024, she received the Psychonomic Society Early Career Award.
