| Elizabeth Marsh |
![]() Elizabeth Marsh is Professor and Chair of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. She earned her undergraduate degree at Drew University and her PhD at Stanford University; she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Much of her research examines how people acquire, maintain, and update their knowledge, with a focus on false beliefs about the world. She has published more than 90 peer-reviewed articles and her work has been funded by the US Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, the National Institutes of Aging, and Google, among others. She is a fellow of the Psychonomic Society and the Association for Psychological Science as well as an elected member of the Memory Disorders Society and the Society for Experimental Psychologists.
