Anna-Lena Schubert is Professor of Analysis and Modeling of Complex Data at Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. She received her PhD in psychology in 2016 from Heidelberg University under the supervision of Dirk Hagemann. Her main research interest lies in the development, application, and evaluation of statistical and neuroscientific approaches that can be used to describe individual differences in cognition. She has been working on the psychometrics of EEG data and mathematical models of cognition to overcome measurement problems, aiming to link theoretically guided measures of cognitive processes with individual differences in cognitive abilities. Her work integrates psychometric approaches with cognitive psychology, electrophysiology, and individual differences research. She is a board member of the German Psychological Society (DGPs).
