Bipartisan Lawmakers Introduce Plan to Double NSF Funding, Add New Directorate

Leaders on the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee introduced the NSF for the Future Act to reauthorize the National Science Foundation (NSF) through 2026, more than doubling its budget in that time, and creating a new Directorate for Science and Engineering Solutions. Read more »

Predictive Intelligence for Pandemic Prevention

The NSF held the final of four workshops around the topic of Predictive Intelligence for Pandemic Prevention (PIPP). Interdisciplinary experts convened on March 23rd to "examine how human attitudes, social behavior, and the drivers underlying both contribute to disease transmission through their determination of policy and behavioral obstacles and support."
