Research Invitation - How Psychologists Perceive Other ScholarsDeadline - July 15, 2025 Are you a psychology professor or postdoctoral researcher working at a university? If yes, we are interested in your opinions! Shoko Watanabe, a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Birmingham in England, together with Carissa Sharp (Associate Professor of Psychology of Religion) and Jon Catling (Professor of Psychology), are requesting assistance in a large-scale project by participating in a 15-minute online survey looking at how academics perceive research and scholars from other disciplines.
Participants must meet the following eligibility criteria: 1. Over 18 years old. 2. Fluent in English (note: you do not need to be a native English speaker). 3. Have a doctoral degree in psychology (e.g., PhD). 4. Conduct psychological research and/or teach psychology at a university. 5. Have a valid institutional email address (e.g., ending in “.edu”, “ac.uk”, etc.)

The first part of the study consists of quick verification questions; upon confirming your eligibility. You will be emailed a separate link for the main study. This survey has been approved by the University of Birmingham Ethical Review Committee (ERN 1178).
